I'm Mikaela, though my family and friends know me best as "Misha." I have been writing poetry since 2016, and have been writing in general much earlier than that. I made this website mainly to post my poetry and (selective) entries from my journal. I chose the site title "poetics" because I have been interested in the poetics, or the craft and philosophy behind poetry.
